Bob has over 35 years of experience designing electronics and software for Medical Devices and Consumer Products.
During his career, he has held various positions ranging from design engineer to head of the Electrical Engineering Department for a Medical Products Group. Bob is the President and founder of Oracle Engineering Inc., a consulting firm that designs electronics and software for the Medical, Consumer and Industrial markets.

Bob is an amazing expert witness on the topics of source code and assembly languages. We retained Bob to provide analysis and testimony regarding the source code of a PIC processor. Despite some very onerous conditions– an absolute “rocket docket” pace and highly restrictive protective order that required Bob to examine the source code only on paper for a small window of time, Bob was able to produce a comprehensive and easy to read report for the Judge. But the most impressive part of Bob’s work was when he took the stand, and was forced by opposing counsel (who was a PIC expert himself), to literally analyze the paper code under the pressure of a court room cross examination. For two days, our team watched Bob bat away repeated trick questions from opposing counsel– and at one point Bob was calculating outputs with a pen and paper. We retained Bob as an expert witness to analyze multiple software programs in different languages. The programs were relevant to an accusation of infringement made against our clients in the ITC. Bob easily and quickly identified and analyzed the pertinent portions of the programs, and prepared a concise report re the operation of the programs. Bob was deposed on his opinions, and did a great job of expressing his opinions and their underlying reasoning in a contentious deposition. At trial, during the most confrontational and heated cross-examination I have witnessed, Bob sparred with a very knowledgeable opposing attorney making us smile at the points he scored along the way defeating the opposing attorney’s attacks.
